ICASI Expands Global Presence; Welcomes Nokia as Founding Member
World Leader in Mobile Devices Joins Fight Against Multi-Vendor Security Threats
WAKEFIELD, Mass. - September 22, 2009 - The Industry Consortium for Advancement of Security on the Internet (ICASI: http://www.icasi.org) today announced that Nokia, the world's leading maker of mobile devices, has joined the organization as a Founding Member, the highest level of ICASI membership.
Nokia joins current ICASI Founding Members Cisco, International Business Machines (IBM), Intel, Juniper Networks and Microsoft. Nokia brings to the organization world-class expertise in mobile devices, which are the primary means of accessing the Internet for millions of users in many countries around the world. Nokia's membership in ICASI also expands the consortium's global reach.
